Our fees are fixed and simple to understand. They are calculated in relation to the purchase or sale price of the property. There is of course the inevitable VAT and the charges which the Land Registry and search providers make. We will advise you exactly which searches you need before you instruct us so you know what it will cost in legal fees to buy or sell your property.
When you buy or sell property you need to ensure that that the transaction is conducted properly. The important checks that we make will reveal if there are any issues with the legal status of the property. These include legal issues, planning restrictions or environmental issues. We will advise and work with you to resolve those issues. This is the legal process called Conveyancing.
